TWELVER, noun. (religion) (Islam) A member of the largest branch of Shi'a Islam, believing in twelve divinely ordained leaders, known as the Twelve Imāms, and that the Mahdi will be the returned Twelfth Imam who disappeared and is believed by Twelvers to be in occultation.
Wise words
It is better wither to be silent, or to say things of more
value than silence. Sooner throw a pearl at hazard than an
idle or useless word; and do not say a little in many words,
but a great deal in a few.
